This journey, like every journey, is really two journeys in one. There is the outer journey described in the Itinerary and then the inner journey that will be personal for you. During our time together we will give you every opportunity to Awaken the Maya Spirit Within. The Maya Spirit is firmly connected to the Heart of the Sky and the Heart of the Earth and cannot be easily thrown off course. To have this Spirit awake and active in you now, during these rapidly changing times, could transform your life.

The spirit of the Maya is very much alive in Chiapas and during this journey we will visit the sacred sites and also the villages and towns where many of the ancient traditions are still kept. To connect with and honor Mother Earth we will visit canyons, mountains, jungles, rivers, and waterfalls, experiencing the best of what she has to offer.

Throughout the journey there will be plenty of opportunities for us to connect with the past and present Maya culture, the grandeur of Mother Nature, and possibly even discover our personal link with the Ancient Maya.

On this journey we will:

• visit Sacred Maya sites including Palenque, Tonina and Comalcalco
• participate in Maya ceremonies led by Miguel Angel Vergara
• take a boat through the beautiful Cañon del Sumidero
• visit the colorful markets of San Cristóbal de Las Casas
• receive the energy from the powerful waterfall at Misol Ha
• travel by boat to the remote site of Yaxchilán
• receive three lectures on our Maya connection with Dr. Richard Jelusich
• visit today’s Maya in their villages
• and Awaken the Maya Spirit Within

The traditional Maya ceremonies will be led by Master Maya Teacher Miguel Angel Vergara Calleros who will share his vast knowledge of the Maya Wisdom with us throughout the journey. We will also have three lectures with Dr. Richard Jelusich to help us understand our connection to the Maya: Past Live Connection and Future Vision, The Maya Cosmology of Evolution, and Mayan Cosmology and the Energy Grid of the Galactic Centre-Solar System-Pleiadian Axis of Consciousness.

THE MAGIC OF THE QUETZAL – JAGUAR
A Sacred Maya Journey to Guatemala

The Quetzal, national bird of Guatemala, is the Maya symbol for the Heart of the Sky. The Jaguar, still found in the jungles of Guatemala, is the Maya symbol for the Heart of the Earth. Throughout this journey, with the Maya sacred teachings and our personal experiences, we will learn about the balance between Heaven and Earth, how to live successfully in both the spiritual and the material worlds.

We will see Quiriguá with its stele giving the beginning date of 3113 BC for the Maya Long Count Calendar. We will spend two days at the spectacular site of Tikal. We will see the beautiful colonial city of Antigua, Lake Atitlán, monkeys and colorful birds, volcanoes, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and much, much more.
